Upon arrival at the Windhoek international Airport you will be met and transferred to the Hilton Hotel where you will be staying for the first night of your exciting Namibian safari. En route to the hotel you will be treated to an orientation city tour of Windhoek by your guide. Dinner tonight is included.

After breakfast this morning your personal guide will collect you from the hotel for the start of your exciting safari. You set off south along the western side of the Kalahari Desert via Rehoboth and Mariental, and then on to the Central Lodge in Keetmanshoop. You will stop off for lunch at a scenic location along the way. In the afternoon your guide will take you to the Quiver Tree Forest, ensuring that you have ideal light conditions to photograph these mysterious trees whilst the sun sets on the horizon.

After breakfast you head north through the spectacular scenery of the Tiras Mountain rise and a section of the Namib Rand Nature Reserve. You enter the Namib Naukulft National Park to reach the Namib Desert Lodge in the late afternoon stopping for scenic photos along the way. Here you will be staying for one night while you explore the remarkable sights of the Namib Desert with your guide.

You rise early this morning to get to the gate at Sesriem for a magical excursion into the dunes with your guide. As you are staying outside of the park you are able to get into Sossusvlei once the gate opens in time to capture the dunes while the light is soft and shadows accentuate their towering shapes and curves. This area boasts some of the highest free-standing sand dunes in the world. Your guide will give you an insight into the formation of the Namib Desert and its myriad of fascinating creatures and plants that have adapted to survive these harsh environments. Once you have explored the area to your heart's content you can enjoy a relaxed picnic breakfast in the shade of a camel thorn tree.
Head northwest through the awesome and ever-changing desert landscapes of the Namib Naukluft National Park including the impressive Gaup and Kuiseb Canyon.
You aim to reach Swakopmund in the afternoon where you can enjoy the pleasant seaside location and cooler air. There should be time to wander around town and along the waterfront on foot if it appeals, before heading off to dinner.

After breakfast your guide will take you to Walvis Bay for the Marine Wildlife Boat Cruise. The cruise is around four hours and takes place in the early morning to avoid the strong winds. A light on-board lunch of fresh Walvis Bay oysters is offered please advise if you prefer an alternative. After the boats Cruise you will be joining the Sandwich Harbour excursion before returning back into Swakopmund just in time for dinner.

After breakfast you travel north west along the coastline before heading inland to Damaraland. You will stop over at Cape Cross, home to a quarter of a million Cape fur seals and a popular destination for visitors from all over the world. It is the biggest mainland breeding colony of Cape fur seals in Namibia, and is the only breeding colony open to all visitors. In the breeding season when the seals and their pups are on land, it is possible to approach closely and photographic opportunities abound.
Head inland to the UNESCO Heritage site of Twyfelfontain to views the engravings done by the early inhabitants of the San tribes (the Bushmen). The area houses over 2500 engravings which are between 2000 and 6000 years old. You will also visit the Organ Pipes and Burnt Mountain in the same area.
Damaraland is typified by displays of colour, magnificent table topped mountains, rock formations and bizarre looking vegetation. The landscape has been formed by wind and water erosion and geological forces and showcases rolling hills, dunes, gravel plains and ancient river terraces. Arrive at the lodge late in the afternoon.

Today, after breakfast, you and your guide make your way to Etosha National Park with a stopover to visit the Himba tribe of Kaokoland. Continue with your journey after lunch and enter the park through Anderson Gate. Commence with an afternoon game drive in Etosha in search of wildlife. Return to the camp before sunset and closing of the gates.
Etosha National Park covers 22270 km2
of which over 5000 km2 is made up of saline depressions or pans. The rest of the park consists of grassland, woodland and savannah. Game viewing centres around numerous springs and waterholes along the edges of the pan where several different species of animals can often be seen at one time.

Today, after breakfast, you will experience a full day's game drive from sunrise to sunset in search of wildlife in Etosha National Park - exploring the western and the eastern trails of Etosha National Park, and visiting waterholes on the way for excellent wildlife photography opportunities. Return to the camp before sunset and the closing of the gates. After dinner visit the waterhole, nature's theatre, where thirsty wildlife gathers for a sip of water.

Today you and your guide make your way back to Windhoek stopping off in the town of Okahandja to visit the Mbangura Craft Market for some last minute curio shopping. Afterwards, you continue on to Windhoek, arriving in the late afternoon.
